Hey, I’m Ashley! Your adventure-loving storyteller

I’ve got a passion for all things ART. My inspiration is directly pulled from trends and styles from past decades; their music, their colors, their movies, and everything in between. I aim to create timeless imagery you can feel. I want to not only document your memories, but give you an experience you cherish for the rest of your lives.

I have always been so obsessed with love and all that comes with it. I’m a hopeless romantic at the heart and I love seeing love shared between others on display. The world could honestly use more of that.

Brownie Photography and Production was created so I could share the love between people with others, as well as offer a unique experience to those who love human connection and art.

Your wedding day is extremely special and it only happens one time. I want to take your day and capture it in a way that best tells your unique story.

My partner hates taking pictures. He agreed to take photos at our wedding, but we both agreed we wanted them to be natural and mostly candid. We had been part of wedding parties before where the photos took over the WHOLE day. It felt staged and we feared that. With Ashley, it was completely different. She worked with us to accommodate our needs, and even commuted to north Denton for our day. She seemed to understand our 'vibe' right away, and that we weren't doing a conventional wedding. Logan and Ashley were wonderful, on time, natural, and warm. They seemed to fit right in with the day and calmed some nerves for us. We actually had a great time taking pictures with them, and that is a first for us. It felt like us, and that is priceless. To say the least, we highly recommend Brownie Photo and Production. UNBEATABLE. I can't even begin to describe my experience; it was so good. First and foremost, I have never received this kind of customer service before. Ashley curated every little detail to me, and my now husband's wants and needs. FAQ About Brownie Photography & Production

Booking

A non-refundable deposit of $500 & signed contract is required to reserve your date for live painting services. All custom painting commissions done in studio require a 50% deposit. Due to high demand it is recommended to book as early as possible especially for peak Texas wedding season in the Fall. Availability is not guaranteed but in the event I am already booked, please inquire about my custom commissions from photographs.

Consultation

A few weeks prior to your event, I will consult with you about the final details of the big day, including final timeline, floor plans, decor, and all the details that you would like incorporated in the scene. Upon consultation I will create a mock sketch for you to approve the final layout of your painting.

Arrival

The day of your event I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony start to set up and begin painting.

Painting Hours

I will paint on site live at your event for approximately 5-10 hours depending on the size of the canvas and the level of detail chosen.

Painting Completion

Your live Wedding Painting will be 80-95% complete by the end of the event. I will complete additional details in studio and the finished painting will be available for pick up or shipping 6-12 weeks after your event. For the exception of Clients purchasing greeting cards, they will have their paintings will have an expedited completion of 2-4 weeks post event.

Accommodations

Some venues such as Churches will not allow for a live artist to paint in the interior. In such cases there are limitations at a ceremony site, I will take reference photos of the ceremony and paint live at the reception. Please designate a 5’x5’ space at the reception with access to an electrical outlet and extra chair. To maintain the top quality of your artwork, outdoor painting spaces can be designated if weather conditions are not rainy, not excessively windy, not in direct sun with over a 90 degree temperature, or in temperatures below 50 degrees.

Final Payment

The full balance for live painting services will be due 1 week prior to your event. All custom painting commissions must be paid for in full upon the paintings completion before delivery

Cancellations

Due to high demand, ALL deposits & money paid towards your painting is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel services, you may use any funds paid towards your live painting service towards a future event or custom commission done in studio.
