Hello there! I am Shyann (Laurel is my middle name.)

I love both the light and airy and deep and contrasty styles, I perfectly combine the styles to create a one of a kind style of my own.

Animals are my weakness, I love them, I love including them in sessions, the more unusual the better!

Adventure is my muse, my favorite sessions are ones where we do something adventurous like shooting somewhere new or hiking up a mountain, running though fields, jumping in rivers and oceans and finding unique locations.

I have been shooting weddings for almost 10 years! (I know, yikes, I’m getting old lol) but the upside is I have seen it all and can work in any scenario and problem solve anything that could come up on your day! Yup, I can shoot in low light, rain, and can make even the side of the road look like a gorgeous location. Shyann's photos speak for themselves but it's so fun to actually be the one she is taking photos of! She shot my bridals and then our wedding day with second shooter, Lauren. I knew to just listen and go with Shy's ideas, suggestions, and tips which turned into amazing bridal photos that were so hard NOT to share until post wedding. Shy and Lauren were already familiar with the venue and we left it up to them on when and where to take photos. They covered eight hours of our day from getting ready, crying, hugging, dancing, laughing, and probably some falling. I cant wait to see our wedding photos but I have no doubt they'll be awesome!
