Taylor August Creative is the wedding photography studio of Taylor Jonas, based in New Braunfels and photographing weddings throughout Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Taylor works in both digital and 35mm film, with a documentary approach and an editorial eye: she pays attention to the light, the people and the small moments unfolding around you, and offers gentle direction only when it helps a moment unfold more naturally.
Her aim is preservation rather than performance. You will not be asked to pose stiffly or become someone else in front of the camera. Instead, your photographs are created to feel honest to you and the people you love, and to be kept for generations.
Alongside weddings, elopements and destination weddings, Taylor photographs engagement and couples sessions, family, maternity and branding sessions, and senior portraits. She now also offers content creation: behind-the-scenes storytelling captured alongside your photographs, for the moments that happen just outside the frame.

What is your turnaround time?
For weddings and elopements, you receive 100 curated sneak peeks within a week of your celebration, along with any content creation from the day. Your complete wedding gallery, including the 35mm film, is delivered within 12 weeks. Portrait galleries are edited and delivered within four weeks of your session.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes. Taylor carries liability insurance and is happy to send proof of insurance directly to your venue if it is required.
Do you travel?
Yes. Ask about destination coverage and preferred rates for select venues and locations throughout Texas and beyond.
Do you use artificial intelligence to edit?
Every photograph is hand edited by Taylor and receives no AI color correction. The only AI-assisted tool she uses is a built-in Lightroom feature reserved for small distractions, such as removing litter from a background or a mark on a dress. Faces, bodies, expressions and the integrity of the moment are never altered.
